Disney World in Orlando Unveils New Themed Rooms

hspace="5"Walt Disney World in Orlando unveils new themed rooms perfect for kids of all ages! We just received word from the Disney Parks Blog that Specialty rooms will be available to book as early as this fall, depending on the theme! This is really exciting news to us as there are already themed dinning options to enjoy the characters. Now, families can take their vacation to the next level with a themed experience throughout their stay!

Starting this fall, guests looking to keep up their healthy lifestyle while on vacation will be able to take advantage of Disney’s Contemporary Resort’s new health and wellness suites. The suites Feature Eco-friendly bamboo flooring, 100% cotton linens, rainwater showers and cardio equipment!
The suites will offer breathtaking views of Magic Kingdom Park and Bay Lake! Guests in this room category will also have access to organic fresh foods at the concierge lounge, and enjoy yoga sessions and spa treatments!

hspace="5"At Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, exciting developments are also taking place! 512 Royal guest rooms are planned to debut around March 2012. The story theme behind these rooms is Princess Tiana, from the princess and frog invites other princess pals on a vacation getaway! Some of the unique aspects of the room include ornate beds that feature headboards with fiber-optic special effects, and gold and crystal accents. Guests also can enjoy artwork and special mementos left by Tiana’s royal friends. The theme is not very “girly”, so princes and princess of all ages will feel comfortable in these accommodations!

hspace="5"These new Disney Specialty Rooms will join the pirate themed guest rooms already at Disney’s Caribbean Resort! The pirate themed guest rooms feature carpet made to look like plank flooring, bedding printed with gold coins and dark wood furnishings made to resemble ship’s wheels, barrels and treasure chests. These rooms are perfect for a true pirate fan!

More specialty rooms will be added to the collection when Disney’s Art of Animation Resort debuts in May 2012.
